Dial-up with wireless router?

I want to drop Hughes satellite and go with powerband internet via dial-up. However, I'd like to keep my wireless connection. Is there a router that accepts and external modem? I would need an external modem, right? I don't even have a land line any longer! But I'd get one back for this service!

·AT&T Wireless Br..

have you considered Mobile Broadband via Sprint or Verizon? It's way better than using dialup to go to some fast server, because you won't get any better speeds than you would using dialup alone. I've had Hughes, and now I have MBB via Millenicom, a Sprint reseller, and my experience with it is way better than Hughes...see my reviews for more depth on this. Both Sprint and Verizon have mapping services on their websites to show if there is data service in addition to phone service in your area.
