I'm going to buy the Delphi XpressRC.

p.s. my car doesn't have a tape (or CD) player. Just a the entry level am/fm Saturn radio

Thank you
Same radio I have and I have the basic fm radio as well. You can tune the xm radio to any frequency. If you use a station thats in use you will find you get static in the background at least i do, i found a good spot though and now works great
I just brought the "Delphi XpressRC" along with the "XM SATELITTE RADIO FM Direct Adapter" and it has far exceeded my expectations.

The XpressRC does come with a FM transmitter built in but it's week as shit. I like the FM Direct Adapter since it disables your car antenna which allows much better audio.

My only forewarning is that the FM Adapter is not easy to install unless you are a car professional (clean install I should say). I took my car to a shop that specializes in car electronics and they did a very clean and convent access install.

Thanks for the warning. It turns out that it was very easy to install and I've never taken a radio deck or knew how to remove the dash trim.

The Crutchfield mastersheets rock. Told me ever scree and every clip that needed to be undone. A fast phone call to them told me what wire to splice into for my 12v and ground.

Just waiting on the rain to stop so I can finish running the xm receiver wire throughout my car.

I'm going to get a good test of it while I drive back to Cali later this week.

The audio shop wanted $105 to install it. It me a little longer but it was money saved

Excellent news and wish you the best with XM, I haven't gone back to regular radio since the install....
