Or you can use Cat5 for up to 4 boxes to the 4 ethernet ports on the back of the gateway.

The regular STB's and the DVR are the same as far as how they can be hooked up, RG6 or Cat5.

I already have ATT DSL. Currently using Comcast, I need to locate my TV near the coax connection (the coax connectors are in really poor locations :(). Will I have the same restriction on location using ATT?
From reading the posts, it sounds like using the whole-house DVR would give me more options. Could I put the TV and DVR separated from the set top (STB) as long as they are near a CAT5 outlet? In other words, only the STB needs to be located near the coax outlet. The TV and DVR are only connected to a CAT5 outlet.
