| u-verse and the competition I've had U-verse service in the greater detroit area for almost 9 months now and since then Comcast has actually dropped their "introductory" rate by $30 to compete with ATT. I know that Comcast has lost a considerable amount of business to ATT in this area as almost all of my neighbors have switched. The triple pak from Comcast with HD used to be $115, then $99, now $79 for 12 months. When we signed with ATT we were guaranteed $99 pricing for as long as we keep the service with none of the bait and switch "introductory" shenanigans. I guess we'll wait and see if they try to bump our bill, but we've ben very happy with their service so far. They're far and above Comcast with service, pricing, and product. |
