Gugarci - I wonder why the Nikon screw-drive is faster at AF than the internal AF motors. That's really strange. I can only compare my system in which if I switch my DA* 300 f4 to screw-drive from SDM, the screw-drive is slower. As soon as I switch to SDM, the lens is considerably faster to AF.
