AT&T did a piss poor job with the uverse build here in El Paso. I'd say that only 30% of the city is uverse ready. I'd say the newer subdivisions in town will have no complications with the service, but a lot of the older areas will have trouble. ATT did not replace cable runs that should have been replaced instead they "conditioned" them. I witnessed some of this conditioning as these areas were just rushed through. The technicians just went to every terminal and cut the existing pots lines dead to the field with no consideration for any future pairs that had to work out of that terminal. So now a terminal that served 10 houses now only serves the 3 or 4 customers with service, with no additional pairs cut in.
When TW stats implimenting caps they'll have soemthing to worry about. Yes at&t is going to have caps too but they are going to be higher than TWs. I'll take 150 GB cap over a 40 GB anyday
