Re: Verizon Again Tweaks DSL Bundles They just don't get it, it's all about speed. I used to have Verizon DSL 1.5 MB, I switched to Charter Cable because they offered 3 MB, now almost 3 years later I have 5 MB with Charter which is the fastest speed they offer in my city. Verizon DSL is still at 1.5 MB, if they are not going to offer FIOS in an area then they have to upgrade their DSL in those areas or they will still keep losing customers to cable. Bottom line is if you want internet to check email chances are you will go with dial-up for about 10 bucks a month. If you want the internet for more than that then you will want the speed, period. Wake up verizon No FIOS, then faster DSL. I would go back to DSL in a heartbeat if they offered the 7.1 MB here but I doubt they ever will. |

 | Sounds like you're over 15k feet from the CO, good luck, if you're closer you should be able to get 3mb at least |

 | This is why cable is better. None of the distance problem. I'm stuck with 1.5mb and Verizon isn't about to put a remote terminal in around here. And the distance isn't going to be extended apparently.
My problem is that I'm stuck with dsl. I live in a trailer park that provides us with cable. |
