Zen Cart is decent, though not perfect. Choosing a shopping cart usually comes down to how easy it is to customize the design, and how well it matches the functionality you need without hacking it apart too much.

So, I would say try out Zen Cart :D

Edit: It looks like Zen-Cart is popular, and my webhost directly supports it in it's cPanel Fantastico, would you recommend it?
