Re: Post a picture of your ride! I have nothing against BMW's, I truely enjoy the M5's but that black on black STS looked absolutly sweet and BMW's by me are more common place than Toyota Camry's. I swear a few years ago to see a nice Audi A8 or a BMW 7 series was sorta rare, you just didnt see them often. Lately I see them EVERYWHERE, and in numerous amounts. -- Sometimes it's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission..... |

I agree I would of stood with the STS but I wanted to sell the car while I was able to make a profit. By no means does this bmw comes close to the features or ride quality I had in the STS. I really was happy driving that car knowing I wasn't going to see it in every corner lol. Well, A8 or BMW 7 are still rather rare than A4 or BMW 3/5 |

New job, working for YRC pulling pups (the company formerly known as "Yellow Freight.") Luckily I've been driving all Volvos. Love me the Volvos.

Hope that driver remembered to crank up the lead trailer landing gear.

Never considered myself a car guy until I rode in an associates car last year, and something changed. I knew I had to have one, and I knew I wanted CPO, and under 40k miles. It was delivered Thursday. Sadly it got filthy on transport, and the weather is to crappy to get it cleaned up this weekend..

2007 Mercedes AMG E63.
Absolutely amazing to drive. I now understand how people can become fanatical ( in a good way ) about the driving experience. -G -- It's a fact : Chicks dig Mafia players. 'Wanna help buy a goat?' - »www.kiva.org

Gomezha ha, charade you arePremium,Ex-Mod 06-11 join:2001-02-21 Atlanta, GA | I've considered the black rims.. I'm torn. I like the stealth aspect of the car, but then a again Mercedes always look good in black.. If I can find a basic 5 spoke in black, I might consider.

saillawPremium join:2007-05-08 Dismay kudos:1 | You could try that rubber duplicolor spray on paint for the wheels to see if you like it. Supposedly very easy to peel off if you decide you don't (never tried it myself).
But personally I think it looks kick ass as it is... No need to change anything IMHO |

 | Plastidip? I used it on my wheels and a I have a few tips: -put on a lot of coats. I put on 4 and wish I put on a few more -definitely keep it clean. I wasn't vigilant with this, which leads to my next point -it isn't permanent so I recommend only leaving it on for 7-8 months. I left mine on for just under a year and when it started flaking off due to the elements (PA) it is caked onto the wheels in certain areas, namely where brake dust was allowed to sit.
Gomez, on a new set of wheels, I'd take a look at VMR Wheels; more specifically, the V705. I'm not sure what bolt pattern the Mercedes is but they may work.
VMRwheels.com but you need to look in the "gallery" for pictures of them as they don't have them in the "wheels" section. |

I'm leaning towards keeping the stock rims, but swapping out the center caps for a little touch of black ( »www.amazon.com/BLACK-WHEEL-CENTE···s_misc_2 )

My coated with some freezing rain at the time car, latest photo, may trade it in for a 2013/14 Chevrolet Sonic/Cruze later this year.
Drove it off the lot with only 8 miles on it (first owner), and must say I do love the car, currently has just over 15000 miles, serviced at dealer only. |
