Re: internet disconnected and phone line busy at 2:45 pm ?

My wife found the courage to call. It went well.

They are sending in a technician... Thanks.

Mr Babou,

that sounds like a no sync issue, Contact tek in the direct forum and they can look into this if it's still an issue.

I lost internet at around 15h yesterday, Jan 7th, and has been out since (DSL light doesn't light up). I'm at work, and my wife is at home, but she's afraid of calling TSI because she is very non-technical (ya know, she uses the computer, but knows nothing about them). How good are TSI with non-savvy people?

Re: internet disconnected and phone line busy at 2:45 pm ?

yeah i got pretty pissed at that, was in the middle of a tournament and was calling to get the number of the dialup backup and it was always busy..lost at least 50 bucks due to that outage.

That said..even back online i still can't find that dialup number

How early is early? Early this AM there was a planned emergency maintenance from last night.

It hiccuped here for about 2 minutes. Wouldn't have known about it, except the router told me ...

My wife said the internet wasn't working this afternoon and she was not happy. Seems fine now though.

Just a curious question... Is there any way to just remove erx6 altogether? Until testing and such is finished.. I see way too many people getting upset of nothing.. so it takes a minute or two to reconnect... Big deal... Bit It's more of a curiosity than anything...

Yes I relaise it hold the most agas connections.

Cheers

We had an issue where ERX06 went down at approximately 2:45pm. The admins got it back up in going in approximately 30-45 minutes and everything should be smooth sailing from here. If you're still unable to authenticate and you've tried the typical 5-10 min power cycle please feel free to give us a call at the office at 877-779-1575. Everyone should be slowly coming back up at this point.

Regards,

Rick

No issues here, I've been online for 7 hours since I reconnected my router to re-establish MLPPP.

Currently on ERX03.

Working from home today; I was in the middle of a conference call with the office when the internet connection went dead at around 2:45. That killed my VPN connection and my Remote Desktop went gray. I was able to wing it from memory though

Poo happens, I'm glad to see it wasn't just me. I'm not in the mood today to start screwing around resetting modems and routers.

I'm having the same issue! I am unable to browse the Internet. I can ping though, both to router and ip. I've tried browsing via wifi on my iPhone with no luck so know it isn't my computer.

I've also had no luck getting through to any of teksavvy's phone numbers. I would feel a lot better if someone from teksavvy commented on this!
