While I'm not a Cox customer, I'm curious as to how/when these problems are fixed.

I have a crappy DSL connection (1.5down - speedtest.net shows about 1.3 however) and Saturday night (the first time i really sat down to view a netflix movie via the xbox 360) I had 2 bars.

Yesterday The highest I could get was 1 bar, and while viewing, i kept getting the "connection speed has dropped" message and then the show would come back unwatchable (way too pixelated).

tonight is only 1 bar again. But so far in the one show I've watched, no drop in speed and the quality was "watchable".

Somewhere I read that over 1 million users downloaded the netflix app on their 360. So there's the growing pains right there.

I'm in LA, on Time Warner Cable (not Cox, right?) Just wanted to add my two cents - The quality has been terrible for the past two or three weeks. It will often start at low quality, then stop and rebuffer and play even worse than when it started. We're talking LOW LOW resolution. the streaming service is the main reason I have Netflix and if this poor quality continues I will have to stop the service.
