Jim Cramer (CNBC) also agrees the guy is a few fries short of a Happy Meal, especially about VZ. This same character is notorious for not liking companies that spend serious amounts of money on R&D or capital expenditures or both (among his other notable-but-wrongheaded pans: Intel, Symantec, IBM after spinning off Global Storage to Hitachi and the PC operations to Lenovo, and Microsoft). Among this fella's hot picks: three companies that don't even *exist* any more - Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, and Merill Lynch. |
