How good is Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM)

claudiu @rogers.com	How good is Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) Hi, I am looking for a second opinion about MBAM;I was able to disable real time protection just deleting the serial from registry (HKLM/Software/MBAM); I assume that can be done also by a malware. MBAM forum experts told me that is not a big deal but if an anti-malware software cannot protect itself from being deactivated how reliable can be???? Thanks, Claudiu

redwolfe_98 Premium join:2001-06-11 kudos:1	reply to claudiu i, myself, don't think it is important that security-programs have self-protection, but that is just my opinion.. if security-programs do have self-protection, if possible, i disable it.. then again, i use "system safety monitor", which protects everything, so i wouldn't need for a program to protect itself..
