why do companies do deals with Sprint?

#1 reason I want Sprint to go under. WTF do these companies want customers? the NFL has a deal with Spint. Does the NFL not know Sprint maybe 12% of the mobile market and it's not going to get larger? Call me silly, but if I'm a company and I decide to do an exclusive deal then wouldn't I want to choose the company that has the MOST customers? That means either Verizon or at&t. Both are about the same size. Not fricken sprint.

Re: why do companies do deals with Sprint?

Verizon had this but didn't want to pay the premium to keep it. I have Verizon and would like the option. I finally dumped Charter and moved to Directv to have the Sunday Ticket and NFL Network.

The NFL likes to lock in with certain companies it appears.

Um.. if you don't like a company, then go away and get a life. Really.. anyone that "wants" a company to go under? Seriously, didn't that mentality go away back in grade school on the play ground?

Your numbers are flawed, for one. And, people counted Dish and DirecTv out too.. when DirecTv ended the agreement with Tivo, they called Tivo out.. well? What stopped that.

When are you going to learn that just becuase you don't like a company, they're not going to die? If you don't like them, then don't do business. You only look a fool when you spend so much time fan-boying for their death.

These kinds of posts are counter productive and a waste of screen space - really.

Besides.. I'll just reiterate this now.. don't pray for the end of the competition love or hate them... you WILL regret it! Call the death to cable, as so many, and see where Verizon/AT&T wind up going BACK TO... (lets nor forget the crappy way they treated the consumer for YEARS!)

Funny how so many people call for competition on this site while calling for the end of it at the same time.

Sanity and intellect have been restored on this thread. Thanks fiberguy, my thoughts exactly.
