why do companies do deals with Sprint?

Big Dawg 23 join:2002-03-27 Northfield, MN	reply to BF69 Verizon had this but didn't want to pay the premium to keep it. I have Verizon and would like the option. I finally dumped Charter and moved to Directv to have the Sunday Ticket and NFL Network. The NFL likes to lock in with certain companies it appears.

BF69 join:2004-07-28 Camden, TN	#1 reason I want Sprint to go under. WTF do these companies want customers? the NFL has a deal with Spint. Does the NFL not know Sprint maybe 12% of the mobile market and it's not going to get larger? Call me silly, but if I'm a company and I decide to do an exclusive deal then wouldn't I want to choose the company that has the MOST customers? That means either Verizon or at&t. Both are about the same size. Not fricken sprint.
