1 edit | Sprint issues aside; the phone has some nice features The phone itself has some nice features and COULD BE competitive with other high end mobile devices. The main issue will be if Palm can build on this and continue to update it and provide a growth path for new devices as the years go by. History puts some doubt on that.
The other issue is will developers(open source) write apps for this platform's OS as well as for the iPhone, Android, & Windows mobile operating systems. What apps will be available will determine if this new OS is around for awhile or will die on the vine.
