1 edit | Is it all down? Is anyone else around these parts during working hours? I was just kicked from the game and can't log in on any of my 3 accounts - was curious if this is a global thing or if I'm having some kind of an odd issue. I'm guessing it's a global thing 'cuz I can't even get to the forums, which usually happens when there's a big outage. |

1 edit | Mine lagged out in the middle of a field of yeti lol. shut her down and now can't log in at all.
Hopefully it's not a huge problem.
Also it was the US dragonmaw realm if it matters.
There's a lil news feed when logging in about rolling restarts at 12PST, my realm wasn't mentioned in the list but seems to be down. |

They advertised rolling restarts today, but I can't imagine:
A. They would do it without a warning in-game
B. The forums would be offline as well.
C. It would affect all servers at once
My guess is they were in the middle of otherwise mundane updates and Cletus the cleaning guy knocked over a bucket of mop water in the server room. |

heh - Yeah, I'm thinking it was Cletus, fo sho.
I'm on Boulderfist, fwiw - but I can't log in on anything. And Boulderfist was also NOT in the list of those servers which would be receiving rolling restarts. |

On Medivh they announced the shut down 15 minutes before they took the server down. The message says rolling restarts for several realms and that all of them should take no more then an hour. HA! Even the forums are hosed. I think someone dumped their coffee.

Says authentication server and many realms are down for "urgent maintenance" with no estimate of when they will be up again.

I've never understood why the forums would go down when they have authentication server issues. Am I really to believe that Blizz can't afford a dedicated server to run the forums? |
