I find the tool I use the most for actual burning is ImgBurn, with Ashampoo in there for occasional audio use.
For ISO handling: UltraISO (although I usually wind up doing the actual burning with ImgBurn.)
DVD/CD backup: AnyDVD, CloneDVD, CloneCD, DVD Rebuilder.
I dropped Nero so long ago I didn't even know it still existed!
