This would be so awesome. I would run out and buy the bigger HDD for my 360 if I could use it as an additional DVR for IPTV.

Think of the Promos AT&T could run, too: The regular terms, no contract, rebates, etc etc for the standard installation with the regular Moto/Cisco equipment. -OR- The same rebates, but with a 2? year contract, to get an 360 Elite as your DVR, or even just a regular STB.

The youtube videos are aplenty of the 360 running the Microsoft IPTV software (the same package the U-Verse STBes run).

And should MS/AT&T start public, or even "friendlies" trials, sign me up!

What would really be awesome, if they got things off the ground, would be to allow the XBox360 to mount CIFS shares. Then, you wouldn't need to worry about the dinky harddrive options on the XBox360.

well except the largest HDD MS makes is only 120 GB.
