Although, this could be the sort of data that the forthcoming tuning adapter peripheral will enable cablecos to collect from legacy TiVo users like ourselves.

Unless they have acquired consent for this they should be sued - without he sub's consent it is a criminal offense.

Good to hear. I doubt I'll see a tuning adapter in my market for a while yet, since we run Scientific Atlanta stuff here. But I did hear that the Motos were ready to drop.

You can opt out of the data collection though. | |
