Good god. Even a standard TiVo hooked up to a DirecTV receiver does better than that. Glad I never wasted the money on Comcast's DVR service. -- Toolmaster of La Grange.
Comcast's DVR is pretty much crap compared to the DVR I had from Dish. I hated giving up my Dish service when I moved, but we couldn't make the dish work through the trees around the house. Huge step backwards in features with this piece of crap.
reply to RadioDoc The beauty of their DVR service is that they let the CUSTOMER do the QC. I got THREE bad DVRs in a row - THREE! And that was after sitting at home waiting for delivery and then finding out that they claim I have canceled my appointment (a lie). This happened twice.
So, after calling corporate in Philly I get a good DVR - I am now very sorry I didn't just buy a TiVo.
There is an AT&T VRAD under construction (well, not today - too friggin cold!) a few blocks from here - maybe we will get lucky be the Spring! -- Illegitimati non carborundum
