Yep, I can confirm that this is still happening. Was just watching a movie in HD and the sound sudden "muted" for a second or two.
I have the same receiver as David_T.

| I am in Oakville and I get the same sound drop-out for a second or two on the HD channels. It has been like that for about a year for me. It does not happen often, maybe once or twice an hour.
If I remember correctly, it was posted here about a year ago, the sound drop-out was an issue with the HD box. I have HD with PVR. |

1 edit | Seems like it might be the box, since we all have the DCT6416. Anyone using the standard HD receiver and experiencing this issue? Is there any firmware update for this issue?
This issue happens for pretty much every movie I watch, most likely because they are long enough for it to occur. |
