Very Good News

I think this is great. They may not have the best product but they now have the easiest to understand pricing and they arguably have the best mix of pricing and product. I am interested. Very interested.

This also can't help but make the market change a bit and add some interesting choices with the other carriers this year. A recession has some positives I guess.

Seems like a good deal to me. Wonder how the quality will be?

They're a MVNO. That means they're piggy backing on another network. Boost uses Sprint's Nextel network.

Boost *is* Sprint Nextel, at least here in the US.

that also means when issues arise, the fingerpointing begins and nothing gets done.

Oh so it's just like with Verizon Wireless. Whenever there's a reception problem, they always point the finger at your (their) handset. But they'd be happy to sell you a new one with a new 2 year contract. That way, you can have the same reception issue for another two years! I hear sprint is that way too.

Sometimes they have you do the *228. I'm sure that's fixed a lot of problems with call drops.
