Is there a way to see if I'm on DOCSIS 2.0?

Split from this topic --> »Discuss 16/2 or 12/2 speed tiers here, please

Well I guess the outage last night was just an outage... I am still getting the same config file and speeds. My firmware didn't change either, so I guess some drunk person must have taken out a pole somewhere.
Is there anyway I can see if I am on DOCSIS 2.0? I have a moto 5100, so the information provided is pretty nominal.

This is everything it shows on the Signal Tab.

Frequency 705000000 Hz Locked
Signal to Noise Ratio 37 dB
Power Level 0 dBmV

Upstream Value
Channel ID 3
Frequency 32000000 Hz Ranged
Power Level 40 dBmV

Like I said, there isn't much information. I guess I will just look around my neighborhood and find a someone that also has Comcast.... I'm sure somebody I know does.

Since they have legacy channels as well even if a neighbor is on D2 that doesn't mean you are and vis versa

I guess it was just an outage. Of course no love for New Mexico yet. Sigh... It would be nice to have Blast! at least.

Thanks everyone.

p.s. Sorry for making the post in the wrong thread Sorto'

What kind of cable modem do you have? You can check the model # to find out.However,DOC.1.0-2.0,can give you throughput(speeds)upto 22Mb/s dlwd, and 8Mb/s upld.To get the new speed of upto 50Mb/s dlwd and 16Mb/s,you need 3.0 compliant cable modem.

That will only tell them whether or not the modem is capable of D2 and not what it is actually registered at with Comcast.
