I am having issues with itunes as it keeps crashing whenever I try to synch with my iphone.
Is this a related issue? I tried this fix and it did not stop my itunes from crashing.
Any ideas? I am about to kill someone.... |

Another way to fix this is:
1- Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
2- Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then click Yes.
3- In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt:
reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f
4- Press Enter to install the solution.
If The operation completed successfully displays, close the Administrator: Command Prompt window to complete this procedure. If "ERROR: Access is denied" displays, repeat this procedure from the top, making sure you clicked Run as administrator in step two. |

Identifying and fixing this probably saved a lot of people from having to reinstall Win7 or quitting and reverting to another version. Thanks. |

Actually this "reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f" etc message was waiting in my Action Center for some time now... it seems MS can push out these messages pretty fast - which I consider good, as long as it doesn't execute them without asking me first.
