The most likely culprit for the modem reset scenario was the "Auto Calendar Update Configuration" page in the modem/router. reply to NetFixer I keep the firmware auto update turned off on all my 3347NWG-006 Wireless Gateways for the exact same reason. I got my little butt burned last time they did an auto update and spent most of the day reconfiguring the settings on mine and my customers.
I intend to keep it turned off on my 2210 but forget to do it because I reset mine a lot to take screen captures of different setups when I help people here. I'm also scared that AT&T will send out a firmware update to dumb our 2210 down like the other 2210 that AT&T sends out.
