@mindspring.com		[Wireless] Linksys POE AP

Hi,

I got a cisco POE switch C3524. I wanna put a access point that connects to this switch. I wanna get a POE AP.

Does any linksys AP work with this?

 Linksys used to have a few WAP/ Wireless routers that supported PoE, but I don't see any thing in their current lineup on their website that directly supports it. As I recall some were rated for outdoor use, did not support 3rd party firmware, and were not cheap.

As long as you switch supports the 802.3af standard (PoE standard), you could get a PoE splitter to power a conventional access point.
