Actually, the at&t is a logo thing because focus groups thought that indicated a more friendly approach than the all caps AT&T. Again just a logo thing and a trade mark. However you write it, it means the same.

Agreed, it is AT&T, "at&t" is just marketing. Confirmed via the NYSE filings and PR Newswire. See ticker NYSE: T, clearly listed as "AT&T Inc."
