Re: More bad news I agree with you brother I am a retiree of Telus.
It does not help us keep jobs in Canada if a few are messing things up. Example call Telus TV repair and one gets forwarded to a voice mail that states this is a voice mail 8719 does not handle calls and cuts off.Phone in again and states this is a mail box 8723 does not take calls and one is cut off. These are Telus TV persons in Canada. Who ever is doing this is just encouraging Telus to send the jobs overseas. Personally I think this is a disgusting state of affairs that a few are messing things up for our other brothers and sisters employment in Canada. Oh yes I phoned 310-6988 then pressed 4. |

Show that Telus in Canada gives the best Customer Service. In turn that gives the Company no excuses to send even more jobs offshore. |

Re: Rumour: Massive layoffs at Telus You would think that a forward-looking company would take this opportunity to increase market share by providing better customer service in a down market, but Telus seems to be going in the opposite direction. Every time I've dealt with Telus in the last year on residence or business service issues, it seems like the first-line customer service people are trying to lose my business, then the retention department has to buy it back with excessive discounts and deals that we weren't asking for in the first place. We're now paying Telus less than half the amount per month that we were a year ago, and it's all as a result of badly-handled Telus issues prodding us to change our services when we were fine with the status quo. It's a strange way to do business. |

Kruisey join:2006-12-30 Vancouver, BC | AJ102 I have been though the same experiences as you then the retention department have had to fix things up. So it is SO IMPORTANT that the front line people give excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE. Keep those and your jobs in Canada.Give Telus no excuse for putting you on the street. |

 | reply to no name They are also closing down the Assignment Centre in BC by the end of the year, and cutting the AB Assigment Centre in half. They are going to fall flat on their face as far as quality is concerned. Unfortunately it is the customers who will suffer their mistake |
