I checked my lineup this morning, and here in Williamsport we still have the HDs in the 180s-260s...maybe tomorrow.

Was anything added, btw?

The Comcast Network is the only "cable channel" as of right now that is not in the 800's like all of the others. All of the locals are still just in the 230's probably because of the BTN alternate channels which the could move now because there is not going to be more than one game at the same time on BTN for the rest of the year

just to let Everyone here Know, The Comcast Cable System of Pottsville will be doing Network upgrades on the Fiber System between 12:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. Real Late Tonight, Both Internet Services and Phones Services will be down for about 30 to 90 Minutes, but TV signals should remain Fully Active!!!

Better get used to posting. These channel rearrangements will be happening for months. Docsis 3.0 will come first. Once we start the transition in spring 2010, you will see the boom in HD. Until then don't expect much but arrangement to prepare for this.

Yeah Reading's the only area in Central PA's management group that put RedZone SD in the 700's with the other relevant Sports channels.

Good for the people of Blue Mountain Cable! Must be a lot of work to do to get that plant up to modern day standards.
All of our sports are in the 250s-270s.

I see commercials that tell me that NFL RedZone is on Channel 754 (or something), but its on channel 255 here!
That is the standard definition version of the channel, in the 700s. 255 is HD.
I might have been mistaken, but anyway - the SD version here is 275, not 754.

Comcast just took over Blue Mountain Cable in Schuylkill County, it will be part of the Pottsville system.

This (like the others) was in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette today. Hopefully a few HD adds will take place too!

ATTENTION COMCAST CUSTOMERS!

Effective on or around December 17, 2009, Comcast is updating the Williamsport channel lineup to include all of your HD* channels in a single area (channels 801-899), conveniently grouped for easier viewing. To help make room, the following On Demand channels will be move to new channel numbers:

-Entertainment On Demand from 886 to 986
-Shop 887 from channel 887 to 997
-Automotive On Demand from channel 889 to 989
-Travel and Leisure from channel 891 to 991

Additionally, the following channels will mvoe from Digital Classic Service to Expanded Basic Service**:

-Biography on channel 115**
-G4 on channel 162**
-History International on channel 116**
-Sprout on channel 128**
-Style on channel 118*

Don't have Comcast Digital TV with HD? Call 1-800-COMCAST today!

Off Topic, but I don't see why the merger between ticketmaster and live nation wouldn't go through. Live nation does most of ticketmaster's tickets now anyways. Like my local concert venue used to use ticketmaster. Now it uses live nation ticketing. I can't see comcast buying something else.
Comcast speed up the digital transition, improve the guide, offer more features, offer more hd channels (like maybe beat dish and directv to offering over 200 hd channels?), and get your cable business straightened out before embarking on new endeavors.

comcast.com shows Animal planet HD and History HD in the 200's.
Well comcast.com is wrong. Maybe I should take a screen shot with the guide up and e-mail it to them. It's a shame that they don't know their own lineup. They are too big for their own good! I think Comcast is going to purchase Ticketmaster if the Anti Trust investigation goes through.
I see commercials that tell me that NFL RedZone is on Channel 754 (or something), but its on channel 255 here!
This is why they need to go to a Universal Channel Lineup. Not only for us Customers simplicity of the same channel number everywhere, but for their database simplicity as well. Make one change in Expanded Basic or higher, and do it across the entire Comcast footprint.

Vote for Universal Channel Lineup!
