| reply to Comcast Guy said by Comcast Guy :E! is a Comcast owned channel, so you're stuck there for now. The Cavalry wave will be compete in Central PA before you know it and you'll have a great lineup and be able to get DOCSIS 3.0 speeds for internet (if you so choose). As for Big Ten, I think it being on Expanded Basic was part of the agreement Comcast has with the network. It'll be digital soon enough. As far as AMC and CNN, i'll ask around. Reading is pretty full right now bandwidth wise. I hope this includes us in the SA areas!! |

| reply to Comcast Guy Hey Comcast Guy, then do you know why Big Ten Network (channel 37 in Pottsville) Did Not Go Digital all the way back on July 30, 2009 when History HD was to go on channel 217, and Animal Planet HD was to be on 230, and we are to have Style (Channel 63 in Pottsville NOT 76 as it says in the AD) to go digital on 12/17/2009 that should give us CNN HD and AMC HD, and then get rid on Fox 29 (Channel 11 in Pottsville) on 12/21/2009!!
Plus they should also get rid of E!, and TV Guide Channel immediately, what a complete waste of Bandwidth those channels are!! The less Analog the better i feel!!! |

| reply to Comcast Guy Goodbye Fox 29 in Pottsville PA we hardly knew you!!!!!!!!
we pretty much figured this out when the FCC ruled that the Scranton/Willksbare area was considered a Philadelphia Secondary home market, it then prevented Our Comcast System from Showing NY Giants games at 1:00 P.M. even if the Eagles did not play until 4:30 P.M. (Before they were even allowed to play at the same time, then they used a tie-breaker where only home market got each home game, NY for NY, Phi. for Phil. but because we had both channels for both areas, we still go to see both of them!!! whether it was 1:00 P.M. or 4:30 P.M. at the same time or Either on going first at 1:00 P.M. or 4:30 P.M. we had always see both teams, but it was when the World Series was be played, i always went to Fox 29 (WTXF) because it always had a better Signal then Fox 56 (WOLF) but because of the FCC ruling, comcast was forced to block all of the WTXF programing from 8:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. (there would be a test pattern saying due to FCC recent Decisions you must watch World Series on channel 5 of your cable system) so who is going to watch a channel when during it most important programs it's feed is going to be blocked, i think they were originally just going to make the channel digital only this month, but i said to Rick last month in a E-mail to just then take it off since i want less analog channels and more digital channels as possible!!! Since they never ever gave us the History HD and Animal Planet HD that we were to get 5 months ago!! and if he does NOT, still deliver them to us, i bother him more than i am doing now!!! i also urge you people here to send more emails also!!!!! |

| reply to ryan21 The Comcast Network is the only "cable channel" as of right now that is not in the 800's like all of the others. All of the locals are still just in the 230's probably because of the BTN alternate channels which the could move now because there is not going to be more than one game at the same time on BTN for the rest of the year |

| reply to roddy3530 Better get used to posting. These channel rearrangements will be happening for months. Docsis 3.0 will come first. Once we start the transition in spring 2010, you will see the boom in HD. Until then don't expect much but arrangement to prepare for this. |
