HORRIBLE!

I have tried to run my business using Aracnet (Spiritone) as my ISP since 2002. These guys are the WORST!

Lousy support. Unilateral, major changes to the network that break features that I depend on. Frequent outages that leave me without e-mail and cause my web sites to be down overnight and in some cases for the entire weekend. Unilaterally refusing to support features and functionality for no better reason than they don't feel like it.

But the kicker for me is that David Wolfe, the Owner, could care less about any of this. It's as though Spiritone has a company policy of trying to chase away as many customers as they can. In that goal, they seem to be succeeding.

Every time I have spoken to him about these outages and problems (which has been a LOT over the past 6 years) he says, "There's nothing I (David) can do about it".

As the Owner of my own company, if I was getting this level of complaints from my customers I can assure you that I would find a way to "do something about it".

If you're just a non-technical dial-up user who doesn't mind paying more and don't care about frequent, lengthy outages, then by all means, Spiritone may be the ISP for you. But Spiritone is definitely not a high SLA, best practices, customer oriented ISP that would appeal to business class customers.

If you enjoy pain in your life, you'll love these guys.
