Trois-Rivieres, QC | Slows speeds after unexpected firmware upgrade Hello everybody.
I'm expecting slow download speeds after an unexpected firmware upgrade of my cable modem.
I had no problems until now. i always had a download speed near 9300kbps.
Any ideas??

I'm running a DHG535
The worst of all is that i have seen nobody running this f/w anymore! I'm feeling like the only one using this f/w

Hi!!
i had this Firmware update too and since, the lights are always blinking in front.Before this upgrade the link led was blinking only when there is data transfer!! it's so bad and yes there is a little slowdown for me too!! |

really?? well i figure out i'm not alone  . I hope that cogeco guys are reading this post.
i'm looking for a f/w downgrade.
usually i downloaded @ 9200~9300 kbps and the maximum i've seen is around 6100kbps. in the worst case scenario i downloaded @ 1700kbps |

try a speed test at: »speed test.cgocable.ca/ to make sure we have the same server but presently , I'm having some voip troubles + slow speed!! |

i had recently voip troubles but not now
it seems to be better, maybe cuz i resetted my modem by pressing reset within 15 secs |

Salut les gars, si vous voulez que je fasse une vérification pour vous, vous n'avez qu'à me faire parvenir en message privé votre MAC adresse de modem et je vais vérifier ce qui se passe...
(PS : il n'y a pas eu d'upgrade de firmware hier... mais il y en a eu un avant les fêtes...) |

hey simcloute ..... juste savoir si t'as encore des troubles ak ton modem
pcq apres le taponnage du "mta reset" moi j'arrive a genre 9.4 mbps de download ce qui est assez rare,juste savoir si sa l'a faite pareille pour toi

Effectivement j'arrive a 9,4 Mbit/s en down et 914 kbit/s en up. Tout est entré dans l'ordre! Merci de ta préoccupation |
