| [Connectivity] Comcast is giving me the run around
I moved from Spokane, WA to Federal Way, WA recently and called Comcast to tell them that I am moving and would like service in the new location.
Jan 2: service set to be turned on at new house. No one shows up. Call the next day and they say someone did show up and the earliest I can get them out again is Saturday.
Jan 10: sit at home 1-5 waiting for the service guy. He shows up at 6:30 walks around the house for 1/2 hour and says he cant find the box and will send out his supervisor the next day. The supervisor never shows up so I call and am told they will send someone out thursday between 1-5.
So I take half a day off work waiting for someone that doesn't show up only to call later and find out that I didn't need to be at home at all. Since then I have called about 10 times. Every time I get different answers. I have heard I should have someone out to put in a temporary line in a few days, also I have heard I need a permanent line which will take 2 months for the engineering crew to come out. It took me 4 calls before they finally corrected my phone number which was in their system incorrectly. Also they are still billing me even though I have asked if they have suspended my billing on several occasions to have them say well we will now.
Its Jan 26th now and I still have no cable, no time frame when I will get cable, and I just looked online to see that I will be receiving my February bill soon. What should I do or who can I contact to get things moving. I just want my internet and TV turned on within 1 month of moving. Is that to much to ask. |
