I agree... it should be a monthly add on of $5-$10/month. The only reason that I could see them wanting a contract is due to unlimited calling... and then again... it should be no more than $5-$10/month. -- Canada = Hollywood North

It shouldn't be an add-on at all. It should be a one-time pay for the hardware cost and then they THANK you for saving them the money of having to build another new tower to give you cell phone coverage.
