Re: Why is it?!

Why is it that Cablevision can do 15/2 for $29.95-49.95 (single/dual-triple play) and Verizon can do 20/5 for $54.95 and 20/20 for $64.95 and Comcast still thinks they can get away with overcharging for their top tier
Comcast does 12/2 for $33-$42.95 (triple-play to video bundle) in the DOCSIS 3 upgraded markets, which is pretty much in line with the OOL offering.

22/5 service is $62.95, so it's only a few bucks more than Verizon's 20/5 service. There isn't currently the capability to do 20/20 in a mass deployment on DOCSIS systems yet, so that eliminates that as being an option.

50/10 is $139.95 with Comcast, and 50/20 is $139.95 with FiOS. Again, DOCSIS limitations are the biggest reason for not being able to counter with a 20mbps upstream offering.
