| What happend yesterday? Anybody know what happened yesterday? There were a few episodes that lasted for about an hour each where I had no internet connectivity and the phone did not work either, CATV was fine however. I called in and they said they were having trouble in the Boardman system, which is the one that I am connected to. It was interesting because I know of a few people who have DSL went out as well a long with a few landline phone customers including a school in the local area. I work down at Youngstown State University and we had several calls about computers not able to get online on several VLANs. Sounds like there was a big backbone burp that all the providers int he area go through and I'm just wondering if anyone knew what happened.

| Not sure what happened, had no Internet that whole day. Never did tell us what went wrong...
My guess it was a software issue (router OS crapped, inf loop, crash, etc) since I could still get a signal (though it took a while) but could not connect to anything online.
