Re: Tax credits Same opinion here. There also needs to be a provision that tax breaks will only happen for revenue in said underserved/next-generation areas. I'm sure Qwest can wire a small part of Denver with fiber, then get a nice tax credit, under this plan...
Speaking of Qwest, what's funy is they don't even offer 7 Mbps service here at my place, well within city limits. If the gov't does such a thing, they should make it 5 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up to a university server, just to screw Qwest ADSL over. |
