4 edits | For the Telesat system...... You know about the FAP policy right? As an initial thought. A certain amount of Megabytes per hour(between 12MB to 32MB, depending on time of day and package) and then throttled back a certain percent. If usage has not been reduced , then another cut in speed. FAP resets at the hour if usage has been reduced.
YouTube videos can be between 6MB to 20MB. And some find that YouTube videos will not load.
FAP free period overnight.
Also reboot the modem by unplugging it for a minute to allow for any connection problem that happens with them.
Another thing is if the dish has shifted(loose install) and is no longer locking on to the satellite.
Here is a link to some detail on the modem lights(WildBlue, but almost the same)... »www.graceunderfire.org/community···&thold=0
*For the Hughesnet System KA band. FAP policy. »go.gethughesnet.com/fapolicy.cfm?hf=0 Speeds will be reduced to slower dialup like speed when threshold is achieved. Speeds then restored after 24 hours.
