How long before the class action suit.

On one hand I do not agree with giving away copyrighted works without the permission of the copyright holder. On the other hand, I hope that there will be a precedent setting lawsuit when the ISP's begin disconnecting innocent subscribers.

The ISP's do not have a good record of tracking dynamic IP assignments. They need to be held accountable for misidentifying subscribers. If I were to receive such a letter my ISP would be hearing from a lawyer.

ISP's should be required to set up a department like the abuse department to assist customers determine if their broadband connection has been hijacked. One of my neighbors has a unsecured wireless router. It would not be too hard for a neighbor to use their broadband connection for illegal activities.

Or someone joining my new-fangled ill-designed Femtocell and using MY broadband connection for their illegal activities.

... Should we pay those who are "too big to fail" more money to ensure they stay that way? ...
