If this deal goes through then it means that att and crapcast are responsible for the content going through their networks and can be held liable by the copyright holder. The copyright holder can call their lawyer and sue att and or crapcast and stand a much better chance of getting some compensation for their "loss" since those companies have a lot of money as in millions where as little billy doesn't even have 30 cents and mom/dad whoever is still trying to pay their way out of the underwater mortgage crisis. What else can they do to mom/dad/joe blow? put them in jail? That still doesn't get any money paid to copyright holders so they are still out of their money plus what they had to pay their lawyer to go after someone. Sue the proper party responsible aka the isp since they are now trying to claim responsibility for whats going through their networks.
