kudos:1 | Battlecreek. MI - Recommendations I am going to be heading up to Battlecreek, MI the weekend of the 21st of Feb. Can someone recommend some good restaurants, possibly a good place to stay, etc...

Portage, MI | Yes, Kalamazoo. Battle Creek is pretty much dead. However if you're stuck there the only restaurant I can honestly recommend is Nina's. It's a dive but has some terrific authentic Mexican food. Nightlife in Battle Creek is non-existent unless you have a mullet and like to fight. As far as accommodations I can only recommended the Fairfield Inn. The rest are old and pretty dingy.
Nightlife and Dining options are a thousand times better in Kalamazoo and only a 20 minute drive. |
