Can you post a picture of your box? It's a fairly straightforward job, two wires from the terminal to the center pins on your jack, but it would be nice to make sure we're all talking about the same terminals. |

I do not have a picture of the box now, I can have one tonight. I had phone and dsl, cancelled for just dry loop. are the 2 terminals that were hooked up at the box for phone and dsl the same two for dry loop, and these 2 go to the center two at the phone jack? |

They should be the same. Does the box have a test jack? |

yes. I plugged the modem into the test jack and I had dsl. I actually did all my registration through the test jack. but the wiring inside the house seems to be incorrect. somebody at att told me that the wiring for dry loop is different than for phone dsl. |

I'm not aware of any differences in wiring for dry loop, at least not as far as your inside wiring goes. Just to be clear, you don't have any other POTS lines in the house, right?
Are you looking to run wire from the NID to the DSL jack, or wanting to try and get the existing inside wiring to work? |
