Uh, you'll probably have some success with it, but there's some WTF's that popped up when I saw your gear. Mail gear? lol

First, you have no tier pieces. I really recommend the 2piece, and you should strive for the 4 piece as soon as possible. Itemization is one thing to be concerned about, but I don't think it's an issue for you.

Second, you're over hit cap and you've gemmed for hit. Replace hit gems with STR gems.

You need to get out of that mail stuff asap.

But even still, with your current gear, I think that you have the hit/expertise to go with the rotation/build I've been using. You're going to be a bit RP starved on your rotation, leaving possible dead time, but death coil isn't as significant.

An update on my raiding over the weekend. Our raid got retarded on Patch. I popped army of the dead on the pull, had a flawless bloodlust/ghoul/DRW/Hysteria setup and the main tank dies, I die, the off tanks die, we wipe.

Second pull, we're fighting, off-tank dies, I get one-shot and sit there as I watch the rest of the raid kill Patch. I was pretty PO'd that I didn't get to test my improvements. Oh well, got a new belt off Grobb.

We go and kill KT and Betrayer of Humanity drops. :O I roll on it and because I rolled on that belt, my DKP put me just a hair behind a warrior who ended up winning it. Blah, oh well. Maybe next time. Not spending a dime on DKP until that weapon drops. Scored enough emblems to upgrade my T7 shoulders from 10 to 25 man version.

Fast forward to today, Darkmoon Faire comes, I turn in my Nobles deck for that sweet sweet trinket that took me six weeks to accumulate. Before work, I go test out some target dummies. I go try on the boss target dummy, blowing all cooldowns and doing DPS for 5 minutes, ensuring that I don't cleave anything and was able to achieve 3150 DPS for 5 minutes. I was very impressed with that. I didn't food/flask. Only horn of winter. Shoulders have not been re-enchanted since I got them last night either.

I then go to the L60 target dummies in Org and see what my "lol spam" DPS would be. I was critting the L60 target dummies for 11k!! 30 seconds run on L60 target dummies came out to 8500 DPS.

Cannot wait for Betrayer.

The only reason I have those bracers is because i was using some crappy green when they dropped and no one needed, What is the hit cap? Ive been shooting for 9-9.5% Picked up some gloves off of gluth on saturday to replace the ones I had.

My guild hosted a pug and blew through spider and plague and downed patch beeing 12 seconds from the 3 minute achievement. We stopped there for the night came back 1 shotted grob and gluth and had a fail fest on thad and raz but i guess thats what you get with a pug lol

8% is the hit cap.

There is no attunement for Malygos, however, someone in your raid must have the key. The is obtained from Sapphiron. 10-man Sapph unlocks 10-man Malygos, 25-man unlocks 25-man.

Only one person needs it.

Also, from what I've been reading with those who have been trying my build on other forums, there is apparently no wrong time to use this build. You'll simply expand your numbers significantly by achieving higher gear.

I find it humorous that the EJ blood thread just had someone using my spec/rotation and posted WWS where it topped out every other DK spec/rotation available on a Patch fight.

I've been doing this ever since 3.0.8 with good results and they're just now picking up on it.

I might try a Blood spec out just for the hell of it.

But I'm absolutely loving Unholy at the moment. My Dk alt is so fun to play.

thanks for that, and as for the rotation, do you still use the oblit x2, hs x2?
