high pressure, battery powered air compressor

Is there an inexpensive and reasonably small, but high pressure air compressor that could be run from a 12V supply? Volume can be very small (just charge an airgun) but it would need to be able to produce 3000 - 3500 psi.

TIA

Found this one for a mere $1795.00 -

Assuming you are talking of an air pistol or rifle. And wish to charge to those high pressures w/o a scuba tank setup.

It does not say how many amps or watts it takes but I imagine it would be more than a conventional inverter that is plugged in cigarette lighter.

It seems most 12v models only make up to a max of 450 psi or so it seems.

Good find, alas it's a bit (?!) expensive, somewhat heavy at 60 lbs, and it needs 110VAC to run though there are some really big inverters, so the last one shouldn't be that big of an issue.

I have a feeling what I'm asking for may not exist at all...

I think if you run through the numbers you would probably find that what you want can't exist.
