Re: BARRICADE: SMCBR14UP (3-12 characters false) Looks like SMC is ignoring all future requests from my e-mail address about this issue, and choose not to work with me in developing a simple firmware update that addresses the password limitation bug. SMC is not interested in helping me resolve this issue because my product is out of date. Fair enough I suppose. So, realizing they are ignoring a past customer, I have jumped ship to Cisco. It was fun. Now I'll either just hold onto this router knowing it's 9 digit password limitation or sell it. It's a great wired router. Wish SMC would have taken some time to work with me on the issue. |
