Re: ISDN Tech Assistance PLEASE

Once the install is completed I should have ISDN to all my existing previously wired RJ11 jacks??
When I had mine installed it was on it's own dedicated run. I asked for it to be installed to more than one jack, but the installer declined saying that is not how it is done.

I'm not saying it can't be done, just what my experience was.

If they aren't going to charge you extra for putting the RJ45 jack, have them go ahead and put it in. Just my 2 cents.

I was assuming they would use the existing analog wiring since I no longer have analog service. That would provide the service to every jack in the house. Now if they put it on a different pair. Hopefully they will wire one RJ11 with no charge. If not, I'll wire the jack nearest my computer. The RJ45 is $145 for the install, rather outrageous in my opinion.

My install has been postpone till Tuesday. We'll see how it goes.
