Hello pny,
The installer will normally not want to touch your existing wiring and want to run a dedicated line for your new ISDN line. Why would you want the ISDN service to every jack in the house? Are you going to be moving the cisco router around? You will not be able to connect a regular phone to any of those jacks that are ISDN. You must have ISDN capable phones to do that. I am not sure what you are trying to do but if you want to be able to hook a regular phone up and use the ISDN line with the regular phones on your existing jacks then you will have to connect one of the pots ports on the cisco 804 to your regular lines and use a seperate isdn line to hook up the cisco router. |
