Should I be happy with what I have or should I complain about this? I just signed up for Charter 16/20meg yesterday and so far I dont feel like I'm getting what I pay for. If I were to complain; how would I go about it?

Thanks in advanced!

Lowest speedtest at 6:30PM

I seem to average about 11mbps down/1mbps up during peak times. And non-peak times I seem to average 16.5mbps down/1.5mbps upload

Is this acceptable?

I'm still getting only 10 mbps, which is the max I've ever gotten. I noticed in the speedtest history on DSLR that several people in my town are getting up to 17 mbps.

I have a version 1.0 Linksys BEFCMU010 modem. Do I need one that has DOCSIS 2.0 compatibility to get faster speeds?

Got a letter in the mail yesterday stating that my account would be upgraded to 20mb automagically but there was no date listed.

Today I am not seeing 20mb.

Same thing here. I upgraded to 20 meg but have the same results as you.

Well, first off, my node is not over-saturated... After all, I've tried to help others in my area get on to greener pastures like I had. But....

Starting today, in non-prime-time, the speeds are horrid...

I guess this is progress... Grar!

Oddly enough I'm getting better results from the UP than I am from Kalamzoo or Chicago which are closer for me here in Holland, MI.
Here's my result from Chicago:

I had to call Charter and tell them to make my service 20M service. It's the same price as the old 10M service.
