Re: Fairpoint switched over Verizon's alias names not username I have no clue on how or why this was screwed up, and frankly I don't care, gives me a good time to switch my family members with fairpoint over to third-party pop/imap providers. Just did the switchover today to free aol email for one of them. Working perfectly in Microsoft Entourage on a Mac OS 10.5 machine. I foresee alot of people switching to either third-party email, or other providers altogether.
I personally think that it's no longer worth using the isp email for anything other than official isp communications, it limits you too much when you feel the need to switch providers. |
