GOM Media File(.dat)?

Click for full size
Looking around this morning and found this file on my pc.(Bottom left in image)

It is probably alright but what is it's purpose and can I delete it or will it just recreate itself next time I use the GOM player? Will have to delete it with a program as I have already tried to use the Secure Schredder in SB.

Did some further checking and my GOM Player had .dat ticked under files it should play and it had taken over control of that file.

Had this happen once with my Media Player.

Unticked all file except the GOM and mobile phone files and all is well.

That means the file is just one of the many .dat files on the Windows system.
